I fear for Frodon on this ground, so it has to be Minella Indo for me. (In the 13:35 at Wetherby, Jersey had every chance when he fell 3 from home. Ah well, that's racing for you! Tough! ).
Epatante did that well despite idling after the last - I'm sure the Champion Hurdle will see her to better effect
I guess Clan des Obeaux is the percentage call (horses for courses and comes here fresh) but my heart would love to see Bryony and Frodon win. For a sporting tip I'll put up Lostintranslation e/w in the hope the wind op really has brought him back to his best.
Sacre Dieu! What a result in the King George. Frodon ran gamely but ground was just too much for him, and Minella Indo was a complete disaster! Longshot winner was impressive, and very well ridden by Danny Mullins. Good grief, what a strange old game horseracing is?
Not sure what to make of that - the second-lowest rated horse in the race wins it having finished 5th in the Savills Chase on his first try over 3 miles a year ago. Funny tactics on Minella Indo, trying to push the pace from a very early stage. Possibly we might need to just put a line through it but a great ride by Danny Mullins, fair play to him.
Not sure the front-runners covered themselves in glory. As Hoiles pointed out the first 3 furlongs were representative of a good 12f handicap on good ground not 24f over fences on something a bit soft.
