We might actually have a chance now... Drogba always gets the goals against us. I mean sure they have lots of strikers who can do the business but this is a huge positive.

    And no bosingwa too. Yay!

Great news. My day started off badly, but has just got better as it's gone on.

Drogba has been a thorn in our side for years.
Not having him on the pitch can only be a good thing for us <ok>

Bosingwa is playing I think, as he serves his suspension during their League Cup game in midweek.

Regardless, I think it's going to be a rough game for us at Stamford Bridge. RVP must certainly be rested for the clash against Bolton in midweek. Are we expecting any more players back from injury?

bosingwa and drogba both saw straight reds, which is a 3 match ban unless they appeal and win. might happen with bosingwa but definitely not with drogba.

I just wish the Cehslea game could have come a bit later - with a bit of luck we might get 12 points from the batch of 5 games after Chelsea. Even without Drogba Chelsea have the fire power to expose our defensive frailties. A heavy defeat will put us back to square one and leave us needing to build confidence again. To beat Chelsea we need more than RVP. Gervino and Chamack have not impressed, Arshavin is on a different wavelength to everyone else and Walcott goes missing.

Gervinho hasn't impressed? A goal and two assists yesterday, he's looked excellent

Gervinho has done well. I would play him and Alex Oxlade Chamberlain; Cube is ready and can make ALL the difference.
