Just received an email from NCFC informing me that I must pre register my Vaccination status,to attend upcoming games. https://www.canaries.co.uk/content/pre-register-your-covid-19-status I think I have completed the process, but I do not possess a smartphone to upload my status letter from NHS. I presume I can take my status letter, which NHS should post to me, but the information on website is not very clear. I suggest other Ticket holders take a look PDQ
Just spoke to my dad on Skype I fear he's about to launch the laptop out of an upstairs window as he is having trouble with it!
At times he gets rather frustrated with things I suggested he played a computer game to let frustration out and then try again. He was saying something about the email registration at the beginning not working. If he is struggling tomorrow I'll try and run him through it via the internet. (or maybe that will confuse both of us!)
I do feel sometimes that the people who design these forms etc, give scant attention to non techy people. I have experienced similar problems with other sites, eg NHS, Insurance sites, British Gas etc
There is a Pre-Covid status registration form on the club's website that you need to fill in https://www.canaries.co.uk/content/pre-register-your-covid-19-status Hope this helps
Totally agree, they need to get someone outside the system and non techy to have a go with it. See if they can do it without any prompts. That's what I do with my work, if someone who knows nothing of the subject can follow my 'how to' guide then I know I have done it correctly. Update on my dad, he thinks he has done it now - the people of mid-norfolk are safe from flying laptops
I will not be attending the Boxing Day game, but hope to attend games in the New year. Have applied for my Covid vaccination letter from NHS. Had reply email from NCFC, stating that I must be able to prove my Vaccination status before I can enter the stadium. I think there will be quite a few fans who will be refused entry, due to having no proof of their status.
Heard on local radio today, that the club is obliged by new regulations to spot check 20% of fans before entry to the ground. That's around 5000 people. Best of luck if you are attending. Make sure you get there early.
Just received my NHS Covid pass through the post.It consists of 2 parts. One for Domestic events and one for Travel. Seemed OK, but when I looked closer, they are only valid for 30 days, expiring on 20th January 2022. What a complete waste of time. It appears I will have to apply for a new one after this date ie every 30 days for ever!!!!!!! Surely there has to be a better way than this.
I did hear on TV last night that the booster declines after about 10 weeks, so you could be right. I have also decided not to renew my Season ticket next year, after 30+ yrs, just can't be bothered with the hassle and lack of enjoyment at games now. Sad days indeed (wipes little tears from eye)
Yeah my dad said the same with his season ticket as well! (though he hasn't had one as long as you have, he had a break when us children were growing up)
Had my first season ticket around 1985-6. Always in the City Stand. Present seat, is to the River End side of Delia and the family. Excellent seat, with inside bar and toilet facilities just 20 steps away. Not cheap, around £800, but the best seats in the ground imo, price includes programme and half time coffee/tea and biscuits. Mince pies at Christmas On sale for next season. Enjoy
