I am in my study with the AC set to 18deg C, in shorts and a tee-shirt! If we all settled for 22degC we could probably solve global warming.
Whenever they have an electricity shortage here due to a power station or transmission line failure they tell offices here to set the AC up to 25degC. It makes a huge difference in power useage. I would do the calculations but you are a teacher so I am not going to show you how to suck eggs.
