Well, they say omicron doubles every day, so everybody on the planet will have it before the new year.
Can anyone understand the Government's stance? If you have been vaccinated, you can live life as normal, provided you continue to keep having jabs when instructed otherwise you will become a leper along with those who haven't been vaccinated and those who haven't kept up to date with their jabs But remember the vaccination is not guaranteed to protect you against any new strain and it doesn't prevent you from being infected and passing it on to others. So feel free to live as normal and spread whatever you catch This message has caused enough people to cancel holiday and restaurant etc bookings putting the hospitality business in jeopardy. But these businesses will be propped up with generous compensation and the generous general public will foot the bill Where I live it is compulsory to have a mask in shops etc and this has been accepted as the norm. At some venues you must have either been vaccinated, recovered from Covid or have proof of a recent negative test. My daughter hired our town's new town hall for the weekend to hold a 16th birthday party for my eldest grandson and his 80 friends. Her only condition was a negative test. No interest in whether vaccinated or not; the negative test is the safest A negative test (and a mask where appropriate) is sufficient for everything to stay open. Not sure where BJ is going with his stupid rules and messages The bad news is that there is a push in the EU for mandatory vaccinations. If this goes through, I think this may result in some extrelely strong protests from those who object being dictated to. I hope it doesn't come to that I am not a conspiracy theorist. I simply strongly object to being forced to take part in an experiment where the effects on all types of human beings will not have been tested for at least 5-10 years. However, the more forceful Governments get and the more cover ups there are, the more I start to wonder about the whole thing
