    Wednesday 22nd December 7.45pm
    League Cup Quarter Final
    Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

Should I have said that this is a cup final or does it not count when it's only for one team?
Limited news on the covid front, but our injuries seem to be down to Sessegnon and Romero.

Lineups for each side's last league game:

Spurs: Lloris; Davies, Dier, Sanchez; Royal, Ndombele, Winks, Alli, Sessegnon; Kane, Son.
Subs: Austin, Doherty, Rodon, Tanganga, Reguilon, Skipp, Lo Celso, Bergwijn, Moura.
    League form: LDWWWD.

West Ham: Fabianski; Coufal, Dawson, Diop, Masuaku; Rice, Soucek; Bowen, Lanzini, Fornals; Antonio.
Subs: Areola, Ashby, Alese, Kral, Noble, Vlasic, Benrahma, Oko-Flex, Yarmolenko.
    League form: LLDWDL.

Ref: Chris Kavanagh, who was on VAR on Sunday, which isn't on for this match.

    TV: Sky Sports.

How would you like to line up for this one?

Gollini wasn’t in the squad on Sunday so I wonder if he’s still recovering from covid or injured… or unless Austin has simply jumped ahead of him?

Either way I think Lloris will start in this one.

Think it’ll be quite a similar XI to Sunday’s match, maybe with just a few changes.

    Lloris
    Sanchez, Dier, Davies
    Doherty, Ndombele, Winks, Dele, Reguilon
    Lucas, Kane

Have the semi finals been confirmed to be just one leg to ease fixture congestion?

Yeah can see him going strong for this. The enforced covid break will mean players need the minutes instead of a rest.

League Cup is the easiest to win and would be especially nice to beat West Ham anyway

I see Arsenal continue to beat up the little boys. Hope West Ham don't do the same on Wednesday!!!! Fingers crossed!

Oh great. So if Spurs make the semi’s then that’s two more midweek games as well as the 3 cancelled league games to squeeze in.

Remind me why they’re considering appealing the UEFA decision?

It'll be interesting to see if they scrap the two-leg system for the SF. If games are behind closed doors they may as well.

I had my niece over today

I would like to experience something other than the urge to punch a six year old in the face...

I would rather have Gary Doherty playing than Matt Doherty!
