If they did then Acun would pay less for the club. The deal is agreed based on the current playing squad as being assets. Neither are in the last year of their contracts though, and they will only gain value so there'd be no sense in selling now for either party.

Past history suggests they tend to offload in the final year of players contracts as a way of maximising both playing and transfer value. Even if the Allams were staying it would take a massive offer to make it worth their while to sell now. Both players will only be worth more this time next year.

As long as we're not in the brown stuff. If this does not go through, we could always blackmale (or female) somebody else to buy us. If it does sink we could always get the yellow Submarine to rise us to the top. Hopefully, Acun is still in the frame and we don't have to baulk at a non sale.
