I hope we win. I don't think we shall. I want the lads to try their hearts out I hope they do If they do Ill be proud of them and won't care about the result And any scum who come on here and try abuse us...well, fork them assoleos, we got further than they did FTM 3-1 to the lads Hawaaaaaaaay Great thread as usual RTB. Thank you
A genuine big game against a top team. Better than the usual L1 ****e. Really hope we give it a proper go. Come on Sunderland.
Should depend on how many younguns Arteta thinks he can get away with playing. He might play one too many in, and if they start badly we could get into the game, maybe even score. Then it would be a hold on job, but it's pens after 90, so you never know. Can't see Arsenal slipping up, they need a trophy. But there is always hope, and hopefully the lads enjoy playing on that pitch.
Apologies, not Arsenal related but those going down to Donny will need a Covid pass or negative test.... Just wanted to give people a heads up as this is probably the busiest thread at the moment.
Will be interesting to see Dan Neil in midfield tomorrow, without the pressure of a league 1 clogger in his face. I have a feeling he will stand out
No pressure. Expected to lose so just go and have a go. Hopefully we give a good account of ourselves. Be nice to win but after we drew Arsenal we got hammered the next few games. Hopefully we can sneak a win but not repeat the defeats prior to a semi final. My big concern is if we do give a good account of ourselves will a few teams come sniffing for a few of our players.
I hope he plays well, but not too well that Sky start to wax lyrically about him and his head gets turned by any press speculation.
Lee Johnson update: "We have one Covid case," said Johnson. "And there are no close contact issues. "Even if there was, we have a 97 percent vaccination rate - I think there is only one player who hasn't been fully-vaccinated. "So all that is involved is [close contacts] taking a lateral flow test for 7-10 days. "That's where the rules are different now. "We have to be careful about knocking people out through Covid, but not as careful about knocking them out as close contacts because of our vaccination rate. "Somebody who we were planning to have in the squad, now can't be in the squad. "But we will have another round of testing tomorrow. "All our players will be setting their alarms for 7.30am for a lateral flow test before we travel down by train." Johnson has not yet ruled Dajaku out of the tie, saying: "We'll give him every chance. We'll probably have him X-rayed because it is still a bit sore, but it's a contact injury so we will give him every chance to be available.
Balls for glory.....1 - 0 to the lads....Stewart right at the end.....hope Charlie George isn't playing for them. My heart rate still hasn't come down when he scored in the last few minutes at Hillsborough....I'm getting too old for this sh*t.
Let's face it Arsenal aren't one of the big clubs!! and LJ got the draw he wanted We will smash em HTL
Think we will have too much for them, our superior mental fortitude will see us through on penalties.
Hasn’t been announced by the club as far as I can see. Just rocker report probably using their man on the inside
