We have enough to get plenty of points and be well safe, if we can get the band back together again. But there will need to be some shyt sorted this summer. Bielsa to stay with luck but he needs at least 20 first team players. He needs to replace maybe 4 players with better players.. There will also be some 23s sold/loaned out

 

I have no confidence in rads bringing a player in. I can hear the usual excuses being warmed up.

And the judgement will have to be made about selling some of our assets to re-invest in more players. Sell a couple for £100-120 mill and buy 5 or 6 £15-35 mill players to improve

There are sensible clubs and then there is Tottenham. It didn't really work out for Bale either, from a footballing perspective.

 

Not sure about that, how many champions league and la liga has he won? Damn sight more trophies than he would have got if he’d stayed

 

True he has but always seems to have had a bit part at Madrid. I can't say I have really followed his career though so perhaps I'm doing him a disservice.

 

That's often said, actually though it just took a little time for some signings to settle and eventually they significantly improved.

Season Bale was sold (end Aug 2013) Spurs finished 6th and the season after 5th.

The next 4 seasons they qualified for the CL every year and finished 2nd when Leicester (2017) won the title.

No one cares about the FA and FL Cups so field weakened teams as you know.
