Disappointing entries for the big Boxing Day races at Kempton - just 6 for the Kauto Start Novices Chase (looks a penalty kick for Bravemansgame) and 6 for the Christmas Hurdle (looks a penalty kick for Epatante). 10 in the King George right now which at least looks a decent contest.

Sensible advice, UC, the real fun is surely getting a winner on the DT (certainly wish I could be a hell of a lot more successful in this respect :emoticon-0101-sadsm). In the very early days, many moons ago. I certainly did back a few of Stick's bumper tips, would have been a fool not to then, and also advice from the esteemed contributor, Galaxy, who spent hours examining video replays, and one just had to heed his final analysis on the race he had worked so hard on. Other than that, 'do it yourself', is surely the right attitude? :bandit:

This place has become a real jinx for me Swanny. Everything I put up on here runs like a drain and then today I had both bumper winners at 20/1 and 7/1 but not mentioned a word about them on here.
Galaxy is still strutting his stuff on OLBG but loves the golf betting more than anything else these days.

Yes, that is the strangest of jinx's, but damn well done on those two bumper winners, now that was like the old days. <ok> Erm, I wonder if, somewhere on the 606 Forum there is a professional exorcist? His remedy could be interesting, maybe worthwhile? :emoticon-0100-smile

Oh, great to hear that Galaxy is doing OK. Golf betting? Not for me, but surely better than punting on football, some teams of which are in distant lower leagues in eastern Europe! Now, that is crazy!

As usual, Nass has lost me yet again, this time with "Cyndi". He is always very patient with me, so I'm sure he'll explain if not a private comment between him and Stick!

Well, that happens a lot. The horse (or horses) you put here are the worst runners. I made five bets today, two of which I placed here and they were the only ones that didn't make a profit. The other three were Gallic Geordie 9/4 (easy), Wicked West 16/1 e/w (3rd, Lads paid three places) and Galop De Chasse 4/1 ( easy, Venetia Williams 10/29 last 14 days).

I'm sure another day will be the other way round.

If we are all aftertiming I backed the winner of the amateur handicap at Wolves <laugh> not sure I want to be admitting that I was betting in that!!

I looked over the entries and saw that Facile Vega has an entry in the Leopardstown bumper on the 26th. PP and betfair have cut him from 14/1 to 10/1. Still 20/1 at many bookies.

I'm on Asterion Forlonge 20/1 e/w. His races are even more exciting because you don't know whether to bet on him to win or not to fall.

I think both he and Minella Indo might struggle with the track - I think only Leopardstown, of the Irish tracks, is as flat as Kempton and that is left-handed. Kempton presents a unique challenge and I think Nicholls holds the aces again - with Chantry House the danger. I’d love to see Bryony and Frodon win again.

Ginger, it's a website called "Online Betting Guide (OLBG) The Sports Betting Community".

I took a look at it myself, first thought was it was not so easy to navigate! Loads of stuff on it!

Galaxy was not aroung when i started posting but he sounds like me in the homework respect .
Sharing is caring as they say but i wouldnt want anyone to put money on a bet without looking at the big picture . I was going to try to work out my strike rate in a few days although that does not show a true picture . The value is the key
