That's what I'm thinking. Surely announced today, with the full week then before the 1st game (with Acun there for the game).
It's not done yet, so obviously won't be announced today, it seems unlikely that it will be pre-Christmas now.

Our signing off ceremony will take place right after the official announcement which must include a picture of the new owner holding a scarf above their head on the pitch. Source the Club? The reason for any delay would be good to hear. The EFL must by now have given the takeover its blessing! Shares changed hands etc supposedly a couple of weeks ago. Solicitors trying to get as much out of the transaction as they can? Can’t see the prospective owners being very pleased especially with the Transfer window looming. Unless the delay is due to them for some reason. A statement from the club would be good for the supporters to be told the current position. It seems Acun’s schedule is the issue. Which strikes me as odd, given that if I’d bought a football club for tens of millions I’d probably want that project off and running sharpish.
Maybe they're just hanging on until they've picked up on where the 'leaks' are coming from and sorting them from speculation offered as fact, so they can plug them or use them to their advantage in the future?
That is what prevents me revealing what is behind the delay. It might compromise my source if they put 2 and 2 together (as long as Ehab isn't doing the adding up).
Share transfers are a matter of public record, they must be registered with Companies House as soon as they happen and no such transfer has been registered, so it hasn't happened yet. Baz has said that it's not quite there yet and he's quite obviously talking to Acun's people, but he says there's no major issue.
