Yeah, don't bother looking for consistency, it's all about "What do the home team want?". As a nine-bob-note.
It’s what Defoe has said. These refs haven’t played the game. They don’t appreciate that as a player if you go to shoot you do stop/slow down because you can’t run and shoot as you’ll need 3 legs to do that! But they don’t understand these things
Really, I can understand Defoe looking for something there to hide his embarrassment over a blatantly, biased, corrupt referee getting decisions wrong, but no ref (on the pitch or VAR) should come up with bullcrap like "He stopped, therefore the defender had the right to barge over him over without getting within a yard of the ball". You shouldn't need to have played at the highest level to not come up with that ****shaftery dogshit.
Yeah, they were some absolute shocked in there Maybe ut was sodden, I dint know but we had too many shocker.
Technically that should have been a pen and yellow card and no way is VAR recommending a potential red card for Emerson
I can accept the ref making mistakes and omissions (although Tierney was perfectly useless today from beginning to end), but there is no excuse for VAR to review that and not see it as a "clear and obvious" error. The more they stonewall the criticism of the system, the more inept and/or corrupt they make themselves look.
First time I've been on and this thread and it is Not hilarious, it's calm and considered with many good points. What the **** is going on. I'm unsure how I feel about the game, a massive sense of injustice is the prevailing emotion. A fresh and firing spurs against a semi patched up Liverpool. What should have been a straight red for Englands favourite slobberer Then I look at Allison and matip who gifted them two goals. Milner as a seasoned professional who thought it better to **** of and let a 12 year old deal with spurs midfield by himself. I'm unhappy with the referee, but I'm equally unhappy that players we should be relying on where a bit of a let down.
He frustrates me in games like this. He should be using his experience and leading by example but he's the player that seems most panicked! Why doesn't he calm it down?
Just said on another thread, the unarguably biased and corrupt officiating aside, we couldn't pass the ball five yards, especially Trent, Matip, Milner and Keita. Keita offers nothing defensively, but where was Milner? I don't even remember him being a box-to-box midfielder ten years ago, let alone now. Did Jurgen really set Morton up in the no6, Fab role? If so, that's shocking. I really don't blame Morton at all, but senior players not being able to control and pass the ball in not very tight situations is **** all to do with a nine-bob-note ref on the take.
A lot of our players were playing short passes. Initially I thought maybe Spurs had intentionally over watered the pitch but couldn't see any evidence of that, plus you'd expect our players to adapt eventually!
Lets not blame the team or jurgen for the ref being a complete cheating **** lads. If kane is sent off as he should have been then we win that easy.
I'd like to know in what world is it acceptable to get 4 clear offsdes play on? We could have potentially an injury esp if son goes in on alisson like he has shown he can
