MoM Winks, more of that please. If that is what a couple of weeks with Conte does, let's have more postponements.
I never expected that, that what a great game and I think in the circumstances Conte has done a fantastic job. Spurs competing again.
The fact that we have the right to be disappointed at a 2-2 draw with Saltypool says a lot On the subject of salt, is there any way to hook Norbert to the stadium mains so we can skip paying the gas bill for a month?
Great game. Probably right result, although we need to work on taking chances. Plaudits should rightly go to Winks and Dele (particularly 2nd half), but some great performances from Sess and Davies. For the first time in ages there's actually reason to be optimistic ( he said, cautiously)
Strange game. Liverpool were much better, Spurs had the benefit of the decisions, but even though Liverpool had a bucketful of chances, Spurs had a bucket and a half full. If they had believed in themselves, they would have won. On the other hand, they would have lost this one in the very recent past, and the improvement is due to Conte. Every time they had a chance to put the game away, they bottled it, but when they went down, they came back.
Oh boy, Twitter's a lot of fun with the screeching about how Robertson was stitched up and we should've been down to nine men...
When you start the day hoping you won't lose by too many, and finish it being disappointed in not winning it can't be bad. Excellent effort all round, a bit more quality in decision making and finishing gets us probably two or more goals.
I think they said on the TV that it was the first Pool red card in years. Please don't tell me they haven't committed enough offenses to get a red card in all that time. When they have to play by the same rules as everyone else they can't handle it. And they got the benefit of a few decisions in this one too.
Didn't one of them get a red for kicking Lamela? Or was it just a penalty, my brain can't remember last night, let alone a few years ago.
Great game of football, draw was about right in the end, we will win more than we lose if we keep playing like that. As others have said Winks and Dele both showed up in what were unexpectedly good performances. Ref was ****e but I think he was equally awful for both sides (at least he was consistent).
I've seen worse referees, Mike Dean, Mark Clutterfuck, Michael O'Liver-pool to name but 3. He let things go which in part made it such a good game.
Robertson went in dangerously shin high on Tanganga a couple of seasons ago, and was let off with it, today he got what he deserved. Predictably, all the post match chat is about how Varpool have been hard done by, not even a mention about the penalty Winks should of had, or Salah`s handball in the build up to their goal etc
