Given Palace's goal was allowed to stand for something similar then this one has to as well.

He was trying to clear the ball though. Side of his foot, was in control. Kane's was much worse for me

But I guess the people that make the rules don't axrhat play football these days

He could barely have been any more out of control. Went flying in, and was always likely to take far more of the man than the ball.

I'll have to politely agree to disagree <laugh>

Obviously Im wrong as the refs used VAR but I think it's scandalous that Robertson went there

I think the ref and VAR have pretty much got everything right. Kane's could have gone either way. It was definitely reckless (yellow card offence), endangering the safety of an opponent (red card), 50-50 call. Had he been sent off on the pitch it would have stood. But wasn't a clear and obvious error. Robertson however, kicked through the back of an opponent with a lot of force. Therefore he was endangering the safety of an opponent. The fact he was trying to clear the ball is irrelevant.

How people can call Prowsie's at Chelsea nailed on but that Kane one as borderline absolutely baffles me.

Robertson one just a joke imo.

Interesting. Thanks Tom. I still don't agree with it but I can see how they got there.

Kane's is 100 times worse for me, and I am not changing that opinion.

Inconsistency is still off the charts in the pl

I said JWP's one should have stayed a yellow. Same as with Kane today.

To be fair, his eyes were on the ball the whole time
