No surprise that Spurs are the more energetic either [HASHTAG]#twoweeksrest[/HASHTAG] [HASHTAG]#cheatingcunts[/HASHTAG]

Well defensively we’ve been horrendous. Just playing it up long to Kane and getting son to run in behind. Konate needs to stick with son more.

No protection in front either. None of Keita Morton or Milner are able to get in front of Kane for the long ball

Morton as tried but it's a massive mismatch; as expected he's getting out muscled and not just by Kane.

We havent really helped Morton especially when we have the ball a few touches in such an atmosphere should help ease the nerves. Tough environment for the lad though

Have to say Spurs are very lucky Omicron came up. We would wipe the floor with our first choice midfield.

So who is going to get a red today? Be surprised if both teams end with eleven players.

Need to tighten up in second half. Spurs only have one trick. Stop allowing them to use it. Take away their long ball to Son against our high line and Spurs have no threat.

They've not played a long ball to Son too often. They're hitting to Kane who then plays Son in.

That was a brilliant watch for a neutral :emoticon-0148-yes:
but it was terrifying to watch for me as with no MF cover , Morton has tried but , and constant misunderstandings between Alisson and the defenders .
Jota not playing that well then Boom - fairly typical for him as he is a bit scratchy quite often but he gets in the right positions and he scores .

Wouldn’t surprise me if Morton comes off for ox. Already on a yellow and getting bit outdone in midfield.

On the ball he’s been fine. Off it a bit of work to do

Facking hell I've never seen so many underhit passes in my life.

That aside, spurs are unlucky not to be 3 up and lucky not to be down to 9 men.

Kane was a straight leg studs up challenge forgiven cos his name is 'arry.

Emerson committed several yellows including an ironed on pen that was waved off and var ignored.

Konate has been brilliant and Robbo really needs to trust the highline strategy as many times he does a Lovren and plays them onside not just this game but fof some time now. He has been brilliant on the offence though

I'd prefer Morton to stay in <laugh>

I agree though, Klopp won't do it straight away, it'll be around 60mins

I'd like to see Milner and Keita play a little deeper if Morton stays on. Push Morton up and not make him have to hold such a responsible position that needs experience.

There's really not a lot of good experience on the bench for a defensive midfield role.
