Klopp booked, what a muppet he is. Never liked his shenanigans and the way he tries to influence officials
Based on the past few games, he's in the Cahill role where he's supposed to move on the ball quickly, as opposed to Dier and Davies/Romero who are there for buildup play The issue we have is Sanchez's passing isn't great and that makes him easier to pressure into errors, especially as his passing is very predictable in our system
On the Spurs opportunities, IMHO tis down to current confidence. The 2015-17 vintage would have buried at least half of them. That aside, as this season goes I am very happy to see so many chances of that ilk in just the 1st half.
He always does. Fergie did it and it subconsciously gets to refs. They will think they ‘owe’ him a decision
What a mental half of football! They are so much better than us but yet we could have scored 3 or 4. And we were bloody lucky to still have 11 players in the pitch!
Lovely half of football. Winks, Sess, Davies all good. Sonny and Kane lively but should have more to show. Some good things from Dele and Ndombele, but definitely the weakest area as expected. Sanchez and Dier Ok, but Emerson Royal very dodgy. 2nd half will be interesting...m
We’ve been decent, Jota goal aside. Maybe a little lucky with the decisions but we’ve been owed that.
This feels like the Chelsea game where we failed to take our chances, they tweaked things at half time and we couldn't lay a glove on them in the second half. Still struggling to figure out how Sanchez and Dele left one of the smallest players on the pitch unmarked allowing him a free header.
