This result didn't really surprise me that much ManU defence hasn't been very good at all this season. It just took a very good team to really break them down and after the sending off there was always the chance this could happen.

The thing was though, Pat, City's defence WAS that good. If Fergie didn't take them seriously before, he will now

I'm sorry I just can't get excited about City storming through their games. The sooner they blow up the better.

Please don't argue about who took a bigger beating.
Let's just agree that you were both humiliated and it leave it at that.

I think it shows that the only team that can beat City is City.

That is as deep and meaningful as I get on a Sunday.

Too true PNP. Mr Mankini underestimated them, at his own peril.

  10. I can't wait for City to play Arsenal. Imagine the blood-bath!

AFC lost 8-2 to United. United lost 6-1 to City. I reckon that means that City will slaughter AFC 14-3 <laugh>

I certainly want them to lose by more than 5 goals, and I think that is a genuine possibility.

    Is their squad stronger, Ammaar?
I wonder how another manager would've done with that group of players.

Fair Review, and considering the injuries we have had this season and to be top of the league is something to be proud of,just a shame about our Europe form especialy at home we we have given away goals for fun but if we do go on to win the league most Utd fans would be happy, and why wouldnt we.

Ask your fellow United fan, Dave? <laugh>
    No idea, honestly.

It's probably about the same, for me.
The loss of van der Sar was a big one, Jones and Young improved them, but they lost some depth through Brown, O'Shea, Gibson and a few nobodies.
Not a massive swing either way, but the age of Scholes, Giggs and Ferdinand seems to be weighing on them now.
