Not sure we’d get much for Chauke as he is out of contract and city will wait until the summer If anyone offers anything even close to what we paid for Ely then we should bite their hand off. We need to free up the squad space in that position and bring in at least one more effective player there Ideally we’d also do something similar with Djenepo - likely having to cut our losses. Neither are effective enough and we need to reduce reliance on Armstrong who has been injured all year and may even want to go himself
We won’t get Johnstone or Henderson, both will be too expensive. Johnstone because he will be a free agent so will have a few clubs bidding and Henderson because of his salary. No idea who will get, Etienne Green seems a pretty Saints signing, only watched him a couple of times but looks to have a bright future
They have permanently signed the 1-0 shoreline for £1 billion. All of their games now start as 1-0 to them
Hahahahahahaha. I mean, great, but we're never spending £20m on one player now. Particularly a 17 year old with 2 goals to his name.
This link came from Alan Nixon who I believe said “big money”. No figure. So clearly 20m was plucked out of nowhere I’m not sure I’d even expect Chelsea to demand that (or not much more anyway) for Broja . Could be wrong though.
Interesting thought actually. What would you pay for Broja that you'd be happy with us shelling out? £5m - not happening £10m - I'd be over the moon £15m - I'd take that £20m - Pushing it a bit, but if Armstrong is worth 15, then... £25m - no deal
If I had to guess they would want north of £25m anyway, he’s only just signed a 5 year deal with them
Is it worth dipping back into the championship for another striker? Adam Armstrong still not settled, but I see his ex teammate Ben Brereton Diaz is on 19 goals from 23 games AND is out of contract next June. I read that Blackburn have just posted a £20 million loss for the third consecutive season and manager, Tony Mowbray, is expecting interest from the Premier League for him. Mowbray is also bigging up his CB as good enough for the Premier League. Daragh Lenehan, Irish, 27 and also out of contract next summer, although not sure if we need another CB.
We will probably be out bid for him. By Brighton for starters Not to mention they will likely want to try and hold on to him for the rest of the year to try and get promoted I heard they have a one year extension option
His name has been touted about a lot in recent times to a number of PL teams. Seem to recall he was very highly rated when he came through the academy at Forest. Not really sure how he ended up at Blackburn for not much money, but seems to be realising the potential people said he had back then
Anybody know anything about this bloke?.. https://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/1...weighing-move-rangers-star-joe-aribo/?ref=nuo Could be a sweet deal?....
