That was rather funny that goal. With Barry Darrow-Chuckle and Paul Clark-Chuckle playing that game!!!
VAR denies Newcastle a penalty on the grounds that it'd just be a pointless consolation goal, and a waste of everyone's time.
Very fitting. A bunch of cringey useless fookers dressed in black and white serving up a shìt performance of dross and a crowd of dummies that haven't got a clue what the fooks going on
tell you what mind, i cannot remember seeing such a slow and dis-jointed man city as that team at sid james right now, de bruyne has hardly had a touch compared to his normal game...i can all but guarantee the 'new, revised' man utd lot will have their worst game of the season as well. ...and, red and white glasses off if that was a penalty given against us i would have no complaints, it did seem as more of a 'coming together' than a deliberate wipe out but we have seen them given many a time. hope city revert to normal after the break.
City just in 3rd gear after the early gift. Definite pen mind, they are just making laws of the game up. Not that it'd have changed much though, apart from waking City up.
I remember exactly the same thing happening to us in teh 3-0 v Hull back in the day (the game where the lights went out) Watmore was absolutely cleaned out by their keeper but no-one flinched and no pen was given. It was almost too obvious a foul that the ref didn't see it Here it is. It's the first highlight on here https://www.skysports.com/watch/video/sports/football/10663749/sunderland-3-0-hull
this 100% for me, said it many times now there are too many grey areas and a lot of big decisions are too subjective, they even altered offside and hand ball so it allows them to 'move the goalposts' to suit certain teams rather than others.
