You can't just jump from where we're to that level we can get the best of the worst and try and land a few unpolished gems though. I personally believe they'll prepare for championship or at least with that in mind.

I’ve been thinking about the money situation. The players we could realistically get are the ones I have just mentioned (see post just before this). And they can’t get anywhere near the money we can give them. Two on loan with options to buy. Safe for them and us. Three with relegation release clauses. Safe for them and us.
Dembele isn’t the type I would want. He seems injury prone and could still get a top top team. He is an extremely good player when fit. He would be our Robinho fail transfer imho!

Apologies for the “off-topic” but all these ad-hoc postponements are pissing me off, it might be irrational but the whole thing just seems another arrow aimed at NUFC’s heart. They should pull the entire schedule for two weeks so there’s fan certainty and, importantly, a more level playing field in terms of recovery times for injuries at those clubs that are (could be argued to be) taking a better approach to covid management. …. and Klopp can **** off (my new adult mantra) - apologies to @InBiscanWeTrust - it’s football, we like to be childish
