Wolves the week before too, it comes to something when you start wasting time as soon as the whistle is blown <laugh>
Glad its not just me whos noticed, loads of games this season teams gave been at it.

Not seen many city games cos the football bores me but i wonder if its the same for them?

I did note on one occasion their keeper waited till I thi k mane went in for him to pick up and the two pundits had a full blown conversation and he still had not kicked it. At least 6 sentences so 40- 50 seconds.

Had conversations with mates when watching football about how long some teams take to release the ball when keeper has it. It used to be 6 seconds, not sure if that’s still an official thing but watch teams like Burnley etc and actually count how long from ball lands in keepers hand to when they release it at times. Can be up to 20 seconds a lot of the time

I'd say being lenient on the underdog is a very British thing and you see it all the time. But then there's utd and the amount of favourable decisions they get......

Its similar when a team is winning and holding the ball in the corner. The refs can’t wait to give a free kick against them so the defending team can get the ball back.

How many times do you see players barging kicking them right under linos nose and then the attacking player will put an arm out to hold off the player and it’s an instant foul.

I still remember the one against Chelsea. Can’t remember who exactly had ball in corner and I think it was Bosingwa litteraly put his foot on the guys back and pushed him over and somehow the foul went to Chelsea <laugh>

edit - here’s the one https://www.sportbible.com/football...ayoun-and-got-the-free-kick-20210415.amp.html

I'm guessing Citeh get the same BS from most opposition teams because those teams know they are likely to get beat

Nah Tbf they keep hold of the ball so no one else can play with it
Like we did in the Utd game :)
Bores me all that death by a thousand passes ****, really does.

I got annoyed a few times last night when we passed around oustide their box for too long (about 9 passes side to side) we dont have the creativeness of the man city midfield so our best bet in those situations when tems just sit deep i find is to play it forward... even into a hole and then play off the following action like a kock down or second ball a bad touch from a defender.

We score so much more from doing that than playing the city way imho

Did anyone see Motd with Stephen Warnock talking complete bobbins and proving it with graphics in regard to how AOC was key to our game?

Just watching it but skipped them talking as I was getting too annoyed; they were saying the game should have been stopped for our first, completely ignoring the fact there was no contact with his head! They should be focusing on the player attempting to cheat!!!

On Youtube. sky, bt, amazon, all do highlights after games.

No talking **** ftom lfc hating Has beens and the beeb don't get a view.

Win win

How feels hard done by that his diver didnt get our opening goal chalked off.

I feel hard done by that the ref didnt send off the guy who pro fouled mane when through on goal without any effort to win ball just cos salah scored.

But you dont see us winners whinging.
