Just watched that TAA goal. If Mike Dean hadn't made that excellent run off the ball to block the goalie's view, Dubravka's probably saving it. 100% the threat of an independent advisor has seen the PL put the priorities of 6 particular clubs first. It's like a farewell present, ensuring all 6 finish in the top 6 places. Also trying to make sure the threat of Newcastle is removed from the league for a year or two. Would be interested in how "unlucky" Leicester have been this season.

To be fair, at least Salahs head was actually touched in that clip. I think the questions you guys should be asking is why did Howe continue to play a player who apparently felt dizzy for 4 or 5 minutes after. That’s some seriously poor health protocols you have there, plus destined to **** your own team up if your CM can’t even run in a straight line for 5 minutes.

To be fair I was more aggrieved with the penalty shout we didn’t get. TAA got Fraser just before clipping the ball. If that was in our penalty box it would have been 100% pen. Your thoughts?
This is correct and the ref eventually blew even though he didn't give it straight away Mike Dean is not a Doctor therefor he is in no position to advise if there were a head injury or not look at the elbow on Perez above - Newcastle v Wolves he deemed that NOT a foul never mind a pen he allowed Wolves to go to the other half and have a shot at goal He walked up from the opposite half and tried to pick Perez up even though he had been down for a minute the guy has got form of seeing what HE wants
Nailed on pen.. Its Frasers foot that hit the ball simply because Arnold comes from behind. Why no var at all? No car for Maddisons dive either. If we fart near a player var comes in. Tbh it's really yesterday its the whole season
no Var call for the 2 pens at Arsenal we should have had the 3minutes it took them to decide we had a pen against Norwich suggests they were looking at every angle to disallow it
Hmm took the ball in my opinion. Was close and I don’t think it was clear either way so generally you’d be disappointed if a pen was given for it.
Thing is you guys watch all your games so you know all the things that have gone against you. However every fan can say the same thing. I’ve watched most of ours and numerous decisions gone against us over the last few years. When all fans think they’re not getting the decisions maybe it’s just cos refs are equally crap to all teams but it’s because you only watch Newcastle rather than all of Burnley’s game?
That's true and I could dig out several of my posts in vault where I explain emotions dictating our decisions. I try not to blame refs etc. I can honestly put my hand on my heart and say this season goes well beyond any othervibe experienced. It doesn't mean it's not just luck of course, but I know this season has been way beyond any previous.
Your opinion fair enough. But the camera and video clearly shows he took the leg first. And as I said in the other box it’s a pen. Did you see the call against us last week against Leicester city. Maddison dived into Lascelles. Penalty straight away. No VAR check. We have conceded 6 penalties this season and 3 of them where not penalties. I reckon we have had 3 penalties declined for us which I believe where stone wall. We have the lowest amount of penalties given. We have also had 3 red cards this season. Also had the second highest volume of yellow cards. I kid you not the referees give decisions for the top six and and never against.
