Two minutes or so from the end the BT commentator said “and the Anfield crowd in full voice”. My struck was never so dumb.
This is where I always disagreed with the view on swings and roundabouts. It’s just not true. We always seem to have more swings than we do roundabouts.
Thankfully my concerns about Mike Deans impartiality proved to be completely without basis… Deans performance last night should be subject of investigation it was that bad. Interestingly he was removed from FA Cup final between Liverpool and West Ham because the FA were concerned about his ability to be impartial. Ok for the toon though.
I get the feeling the PL are actively trying to give us these types of "unbiased" decisions. It can't go on forever, of course. If we do start wielding some financial clout and move up the table, they'll have to start swinging things in our favour. With Yasir now officially being a director, I suspect that things will start to "even out" quicker than before. It's one thing pissing off Staveley and her hubbie - it's quite another thing trying to invoke the wrath of the PIF's Chief Exec.
They already did that because they don't care. These people are crooks. Like you said yesterday they aren't even hiding it. The day they get busted will be fantastic
Every game now is seeing 2/3 big decisions against us. Even the pundits are saying it now. It can’t go on. Unless their will be questions asked. Last nights penalty decision was a joke.
It’s to add more entertainment to the games. Controversy at every stop. But it’s never against the big six. Always against the lower teams.
You guys are all very paranoid about everyone being against you Every club get **** decisions. Last week v villa we were denied a stone wall pen when Robertson was taken out by villa player. You can go back to every game and pick out poor decisions on both sides. Sometimes they result in a goal, sometimes they don’t. It’s just unfortunate and when it happens against you it’s **** and we all moan about it (myself included) but why would refs risk their whole careers to deliberately make wrong decisions in games where it really doesn’t matter to them who wins or loses. Let’s be honest, people going down faking head injuries is more of a concern. Yes maybe he should have stopped the game, but at same time maybe Hayden shouldn’t have pretended to been injured and played everyone on side. If players didn’t fake injuries so often then refs would know when someone is seriously injured and wouldn’t have trust issues and have to try work out if it’s serious or not. Said this on lfc lard just now, how many times do you see a player holding his head and rolling around when they have a serious head injury that required immediate attention? Can’t think it’s ever because most of the time they’re knocked unconscious.
Anyway, thought keeper made some good saves although maybe needs to learn to push the ball away from goal rather than right back into the middle like he did for 2 of our goals. Last season wouldnt have minded us making a move for ASM as looked a player but he seems to just have no real end product most the time. Not sure if it’s cos he has no other options up there with him or if it’s just because he lacks that ability in same way Traore does for wolves? Must be super frustrating to watch
