My van was ticking over to 200,000 miles the other day and my wife couldn't understand why I was so excited. I'd told about 10 people, it was like Christmas for me. Then I told my Mum and as I was pointing out that it had taken 3 engines to get there, I realised the odometer had been changed with the last engine. ****ing heartbroken.
That is horrendous.
Incidentally, what's your thoughts on Den's 1500 sweepstake vs the big announcement? Is he going to 'overshoot'?

Some of us tried our best, but someone should work out where this thread stands in all not606.

Lock it, sticky it and reopen it next time we're getting flogged.

If he hits it bang on target I don't think he'll be able to stop himself overshooting.

I do think it would be a superb way to close this thread, absolutely on 1500 pages upto Boxing day, And if the waving City scarf over his head on the halfway line doesn't happen then, we can't say we tried (my god we've ****ing tried)

Well, I'm all outta fish puns.
It would seem that the number of beers I've consumed is inversely proportional to my ability to create a meaningful dataset.

Not sure if that would lead to a type I or type ii error, or even both simultaneously.

Did the methodology include weighting provision for alcohol intake?

(this should entertain Kemps.... )

Of course I weighted provision for alcohol intake, what do you take me for? I factored in the beer, it's the rum that's caught me out.
