First half was mad, lots of errors but some moments of absolute class on show. Second half the press absolutely vanished till.subs came on. If we are saving energy fair enough but roll on the next game whenever it may be due to covid whingers We are now safe from relegation.
I said a few weeks ago that it was Chelsea's turn for a run of poor results. It's now city's turn for a poor run
Thought Konate did the little he had to do well and is starting to look worth the money paid .All in all that was quite a comfortable win topped off by an absolute screamer . Only downsides were Thiago with his far too common habit of giving the ball away carelessly 20-30 yards from our goal and te the totally anonymous performance from AOC . PS Keita was lively when he came on .
Not the greatest of games to watch, but again dominant from the off. Second half was very poor, but we are 2 - 1 up and theyve got 10 men behind the ball not even trying to come out. Yes it's boring, but I'd prefer this yo going gung ho and getting caught on the break or burning ourselves out. If you win by 10 or by 1 its the same 3 points.
‘Dazed for 4 or 5 minutes after the game’ So why the **** did you not bring him off at HT And this is why you can’t trust the managers Utter horse **** I am not certain there was even contact on his head
I'm going to go against the grain here and say I think ox has done well since coming back into the team. He's basically took over from Henderson, doing the running, the unglamorous ****e that needs doing for the good of the team. It took years for Henderson to be appreciated for what he does and its already ebbing away. Thiago does a no look pass and he's a world beater, but gives the ball away in dangerous areas at least once a match. Ox runs his bollocks off and he's a grunt.
What's this BS about the ref not stopping the game for our first? Saying the ref should have stopped the game if there is a chance if a head injury. Yes, there was a chance so yes, he probably should have in the heat of the moment. However, the replays clearly show there was no contact with anyone's head so he actually made the right decision. Why aren't they having a pop at the player for faking a head injury?
We are seeing more and more of this BS, corner comes in and defender falls to the floor clutching head. There was two of them on that occasion, one having an immediate miraculous recovery when he realises there is no whistle.
The who, got hit by the what now? This the lad who got a whack in the neck and now trying to make ref loom bad?
