I'd nominate the GP who comes on BBC Breakfast, from his back bedroom, trying to explain the Covid crisis.

Looks steady, decent sense of humour and actually manages to comb his hair before he comes on the telly.

They should give the likes of him more airtime on 6 & 10 o’clock news when more people are watching . It’s difficult for Mp’s to convince as people don’t trust what they say - but this guy has no bias ,no blind loyalty, and can’t be accused of trying to make any personal gain, he has no reason to deceive.

Going to be carnage at football games, especially those with 30-40,000 attending. Not a chance people will tear themselves away from the bar to get to the stadium 30 mins early. There will be massive queues and the possibility of delayed kick offs up and down the country

Hopefully the Govt will see sense over Omicron soon

I went to the Riverside Cricket International in the summer, you had to show your passport, I had printed mine off so no bother
My mate tried to use his mobile but couldn't get a signal etc after about 10 mins they let him in anyhow. It takes ages standing a queue and the Riverside's crowd is a lot less than SoL.

You are correct to say it could well be chaos!

Almost certainly will cause problems but its better than shut outs or lockdowns which is the alternative. Whatever other criticisms anyone can level at the current government, they are trying their hardest to keep normal life continuing.

And of course we'll have the dickheads who think if they turn up and scream about the Tories having Christmas parties they'll get in.

Or even carry some cheese and wine and claim pedantically it isn't a party at all because no music is being played.

You can download it as a PDF before the game, lasts for a few weeks, I'd suggest that option, as opposed to opening the app on the day, in a place that's notorious for phone signal ha

my ex-mate i mentioned would now be ranting on about 'the number/mark of the beast' and that without it you will not be able to buy, sell, trade or basically be a part of society and that it is 'in the bible'.

he may well be a bit of an extreme fecker regarding his religion but it is getting a tad weird how a lot of what he ranted about is beginning to show...guess the end times are a comin chaps.
