Respect everyone? I can't think of a greater example of lack of respect as people who refuse vaccination. Lack of respect for others in that you can potentially be wielding a lethal weapon. Everyone who has died from Covid got it directly or indirectly from someone else! As a society we rightly think that driving a vehicle while drunk is a really bad thing, yet walking around with a potentially lethal infection is apparently ok.

That’s good. I’m not comfortable with people being forced to do anything.

<doh> The club also took an hour and a half to tell anyone, so they can have one too: <doh>
Can't we just fly up to Burnley and play them?

Ultimately, it's the right decision but shows **** all regard for the clubs, players, officials and most of all, the fans. Many will have committed to days off from work, booked tickets to get there, etc., etc.

This could and should have been called off days ago.

All matches should be postponed until the new year, allowing all the affected teams to be able to isolate the infected and reintegrate them into training in a proper ordered fashion. There is no world cup next summer so extending the season should not be an issue for the powers that be.

Cancel the league, use January as pre-season along with transfer window as usual.

Begin new season with Conte having had a pre-season and new signings to work with.

The whole point about vaccination is that you do it for the good of the general population. The best result for me is that everyone else is vaccinated and I'm not. That outcome needs to be prevented.

Really? Because there are all sorts of laws that are designed to stop people injuring others. You don't get to choose whether to obey them. Why is this different?

Because there are people who believe the vaccine doesn’t work and doesn’t help them.

For the record, I’m not one of them. I’ve had two jabs and will have my booster in January.

But if you go down the route of forcing people to get it then it creates all sorts of issues.

Although there are other things we have to do, people don’t see them as forced so they still have the illusion of freedom. With this, they see it as taking rights away if they’re forced to have it.

It's an interesting question as to whether people have the right to be stupid. Clearly, if they're hurting nobody else, they do. So you can ride a motorcycle without a helmet. In a case where they're raising other people's risk, we have drunk driving laws. I don't see the difference between choosing to go unvaccinated and choosing to drive drunk. In both cases, you're raising other people's risk of harm by doing something stupid.

That said, I'm also not in favor of force being used, only reasonable penalties (like losing your job).

So far we have had 3 games called off in the league and all 3 teams have been riddled with injuries , but the MSM have not picked up on that , just our Covid problems , how about suspending the league until the new year and we can play Liverpool while their African contingent are away , see if they notice then
