    Where is the dislike button?

Who were the ones we were discussing back in the summer? Isak, Boadu and Adeyemi?

Isak is dream territory! As is Boadu.

    Actually all three are.

"He's done himself a favour" Gareth Southgate praises Reading FC star John Swift for ditching Chelsea."

we could add him to our ranks

John Swift might count under “bargain bin” as I believe his contract is up in the summer. That said I don’t see us doing much business in January

Maybe we will fill that loan slot if a good option comes up

That's a big statement or is it small?

    It's a modest proposal

If we can't get Johnstone in the summer, this could be an option.

One piece of business I would defo look to do in January is extend Broja's loan for another season or sign him permanently. Chelsea would insist on a buy back clause but that's fine. I'm sure Broja would be open to staying. It just depends on Chelsea's asking price - it will be more than 5mill this time.

    I'd prefer Henderson TBH.

If Johnstone goes to West Ham as rumoured then there aren’t too many other PL teams looking for a keeper. Brighton? Newcastle maybe? Spurs (if he’s good enough, I’m not sure). Can’t think of any others

Broja is contracted to Chelsea until 2026, after signing a new deal in July.
Can’t see him coming to us, even on loan, if he carries on playing as well for the rest of the season.

Where would you see him playing next season if he carries on playing as well for us this season? Considering the answer is not going the be “Chelsea”

I think it will be Chelsea.
Their fans are noticing what he is doing and he has scored more than Werner and Lukaku, although I think Lukaku has had injuries.
I can see him starting, or being involved in European games for them, as well as League Cup, and maybe on the bench for Premier.

He’s not at that level yet. It’s one thing looking decent for a team like Saints, it’s a whole other thing going up against Europe’s best.

Another season with us makes sense for all parties involved.

Would make sense if they chucked Loftus-Cheek and Gallagher into the deal too.

Their fans ? Their fans ? A handful on social media I expect. I don’t think they make decisions based on what their fans say

Lukaku had two loans spells that I imagine will be of a similar (if not greater) success than Broja’s will be here. And even then they sold him at the end of the second one. And he started off better than Broja did - more games and goals under his belt and a guaranteed starter from his first day at his loan club

I don’t see them giving up on lukaku so quickly this time after the outlay that they will likely not be able to recoup even half of. Which will make Broja third choice. He will at least want to go on loan as a starter for one more season

    It won’t be Chelsea

Not sure that last part would make sense. No least because we can only have one loan and I doubt they will be selling Gallagher

Although as per my earlier Lukaku mention - they could . But if they do it won’t be to use unless we get a new owner with money.

I holding all my hope on the multiple crest tap, after he scored against Palace, that he loves it at Saints, and wants to permanently sign! Lol
