Frankly, if I was Evans I'd be a long way up the M62 by now.

I'd imagine Sir Alex is on the phone ordering a bulk shipment of lime and a couple of shovels at the moment.

Was it just Evans and his sending off that made United so ****e? Or was it the fault of the other defenders/De Gea/whole team? or were City just awesome? Missed the game :)

they will blame the sending off yet how often do teams have players sent off and cope fine.. even against some of the big teams... ppl will forget this is man utd.. they have the class to cope more than most who have a player sent off. they got outclassed today all over the pitch.. simple as that... and i enjoyed every second of it

The defending was quite horrible. In one of the goals about 5 united defenders stood in a semicircle watching as Dzeko kneed the ball in 6 metres away. But City were pretty good.

A 6-1 win at Old Trafford and they were 'pretty good'. You must be a hard man to please!

To be fair, De Gea can't be blamed for any of the goals. Not looking forward to going to the Etihad stadium in a few weeks.

Mebbe could've done better on the 6th, but the fact I've even just typed that sentence absolves him of any blame for that result!

There would have been teacups, hair dryers and all sorts flying in the dressing room after the match. I bet it will take weeks for the redness to disappear from beetroot head's face.

    Good on yer City.
