Even better but I do think teams are doing this as a deliberate ploy. I’ve not heard anything of a covid outbreak at Burnley or Watford. I think it’s an attempt to gain an advantage.
Here’s the next new rule. Players not registered when the original game was due to play are ineligible.
We will make you Nufc play all their games over Christmas period buy everyone else can have a break if they wish. Or if nufc have any games suspended then they can only field players registered when the game was due to go ahead.
We should take this opportunity to rest while we can. Can we go on a warm weather training camp though. We promise to only take the non covid players, honest guv.
Absolute ****ing joke, same for everyone. Get on with it or not at all. You can't be handing other teams advantages, the integrity of the competition is being diluted. Burnley and Watford aren't daft. That's a massive game.
Exactly. That game being postponed means that they can assess the situation in a few weeks time. Who’s to say they, after a couple of positive results for them (I.e we lose) they don’t agree to draw a game to ensure we stay where we are. While we slog our players with 3 games against the top teams over 5 days. Joke!
Disagree. With that logic sponsorship deals never increase in value. They do. Therefore we can look at the top end of the deals and point to the “new” Saudi Arabia market that are in love now with Newcastle and add more to the value and that would be our starting point to a “fair” deal. So long as we don’t go ridiculously overboard it would IMO be extremely hard to argue any sponsorship deal is OTT. It’s a new scenario, the fascination by one country into “their” PL team, for us and the PL and the old guidelines aren’t relevant.
Looks like they are painting it to get rid of the ****e shadows. Or pressure washing it maybe? Ready for the stadium sponsor which will be Aramco.
Hopefully they'll be shuffling along and replacing the Newcastle United ****e direct font back to the proper lettering please log in to view this image
SD have also had a rebrand and now use GT America according to reddit (No way was I ****ing nerdy enough to know that ****e meself)
From George Caulkin: NUFC hire Nick Hammond as short-term recruitment consultant. Ex Reading DoF will guide them through Jan. No sporting director appointed before then. Current directors “flat out” working on transfers.
