    He's a good player. Class - nah!
For the momey/wages I am sure we could get someone near his quality but younger

Nah sorry I'd be really uncomfortable with it. He dives too much and cheated in a world cup semi.. I just can't get over it..

Sterling is an unbelievably class player for me.

He is a 72 capped international who has in recent years delivered on all the biggest stages. He has a nearly 1 in 2.6 record for Man City. He's won 3 league titles, 1 FA Cup, 4 league cups, and was a CL runners up only last year. In the last 5 seasons including this one he has played 219 games (the kid is bulletproof), and banged in 99 goals. From wide left and right. Played 43 international games in same time period, scoring 16 goals.

He comes across as a bit of a bell end with a chip on his shoulder. He cheats like most professionals. He dives all the time. I get that. He doesn't look like a cultured footballer in how he kicks the ball or runs, but he is clearly a class act football wise or you aren't the go to man for Pep and Man C. Howay its not like he has just been along for the ride, he has been a massive cog in that system.

Jesus if our criteria is not to dive, there aren't any players out there for us these days. We'll have to sell Wilson, Almiron, ASM and quite a few more who have all taken a swan dive or three million since arriving.

Back to more realistic expectations, anyone know how old Steve Cook is? <laugh><laugh><laugh>

Watch the Southampton game tonight, we need to go all out for Ward-Prowse, he would completely transform our midfield and he’s a brilliant dead ball specialist, haven’t had one of those since Cabaye

I don't think he's that good at all, he's a dead ball specialist without a doubt and we need one, but Trippier is too and if we have him I don't see why we would need Ward-Prowse. He would cost a fortune. like £60m+ - No thanks.

You wouldn’t take him over Shelvey, Hayden or Longstaff etc?

I would, but for his transfer fee alone we could get 3 players in the likes of Kamara, Ramsay, Fofana and still have money left over.

Vlahovic will be sold in Jan. He has just rejected the highest contract offer in Fiorentina history and their president has warned clubs who are circling to contact the club first before negotiating with the players agent. Arsenal and Juve interested and Arsenal are believed to be prepared to offer up to £68m.

Straight in with an £80m offer to start the bidding war off and piss off Arsenal :emoticon-0140-rofl::emoticon-0140-rofl::emoticon-0140-rofl:
