Well we don't have a great record v them and they are a tricky physical team to play against. Really both teams need to win.
Watford could have both Francisco Sierralta and Adam Masina available for their trip to Burnley. The club have announced that both players will be assessed ahead of tomorrow night's clash at Turf Moor. However, defender Christian Kabasele has been ruled out for a few more weeks with a knock picked up in training.
ah that is good news..... Normally I would go but I was a bit covid worried when the tickets were out....
Typically Watford. Some good news then some bad. Kabasle must have a bit more than a knock to be out for weeks. TBH Bit worried about Sierralta as he has done his hamstring twice so far this season and well it's not exactly nice weather out there!
Maybe we should do a Spurs, show positive covid test for 8 players and get the game rearranged for when all our defenders are fully fit Not that I would want this but in the last Euros Spurs had 8 players with Covid and Leicester had 7, Spurs got away with postponing their game and Leicester played with a weakened side and were knocked out even though they were top of their group Which of those two clubs have any honour
I have seen some really high scoring games between these teams as Turf Moor in years gone by.... cant see Burnley scoring a hatful....... so down to us.... again...a draw would be a point gained
Tough call, really depends what the "medical team" say I guess. But, are they any good? Players seem to dissapear at Watford when they get injured.
Let's hope we don't freeze later: Referencing his side’s 2-1 loss in west London, Ranieri said: “I think we played well and created chances but in the end they were desperate to win and in that moment we have to be ice men on the pitch. I don’t think we were nervous, but we were not too much focused. We must be more calm and reflective. In every match you have to fight to try to win but you have to be intelligent and when you can’t win you have to make sure you can’t lose.” From - https://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sport/19784681.claudio-ranieri-thinks-composure-key-watford/ Got a bad feeling about this one, and that usually doesn't happen. Unless, it's Citeeeehhhhh Probably win now!
This game is going to be dour. Everything says a 1-0 win for Burnley, Chris Wood will miss three easy attempts until he finally passes to Vydra, who will score in the 82nd minute. King and Dennis will hardly get a kick. JP or Cucho will hit the post. No need to watch it now.
This will also affect our home game with Palace We must be very close to a temporary halt to football now
