Both of those things sound disgusting. Often get some filled ravioli with bit of chilli oil and cheese. Perfect for a quick dinner normally when back late from playing football
Pasta as in it's native state is bollocks flavourle Ravioli et al are made with pasta. I meant Pasta as in it's basic state ,I didn't say teabags with tomato sauce etc.Italian restaurants rip you off with pasta and gloopy sauce.£££ If I have pizza I make them myself shop bought ones are ****e and I certainly wouln't pay the rip off prices from Domino's. Edit Got a Domino's pizza once in India just to try , which had local flavourings such as masala etc dirt cheap and that was worth having.
Homemade soup tonight for tea. Ham hock and pea with veg , lentils, pearl barley with crusty French stick.Made it yesterday so will be better today.Like it thick so it sticks to yer ribs.
Just a handful? I like to hide my food under a thick layer of cheese myself, my spag bol for example, its just a bowl of grated cheese to the untrained eye.
Just did pasta for kids so just a dollop of sauce on each. Me and the mrs (nm) have had pasta twice this week already so thought it would probably best to do something else. Did her a pizza from freezer. I fancied some boiled egg sandwiches.
Doing pork mince and mushroom wrap in a hoisin sauce for tonight with some red cabbage I think. Never too sure what sides to have. Thinking maybe some sweet potato fries but they never turn out that good when oven baked
A handful of cheese is all you need to coat the pasta. Any more than that and you may as well have a cheese sarnie.
The best simple pasta dish is cacio e pepe. You just cook the pasta (spaghetti traditionally) then grind fresh black pepper and grate some pecorino romano mixing it with a bit of the cooking water into the pasta to make a sauce
