By predicting two points from our next two games? Against Palace and Brentford? Yeah, probably...<laugh>

How do you see the cricket going? I'm in the underdog supporters club hoping for a crumb or two of comfort. Will we avoid a greenwash?

Yeah, I think we will avoid that fate. Wouldn't even read too much into getting stuffed at the Gabba tbh. They'll win the series though, no doubt.

I just had a horrible moment of thinking how much Benteke will physically bully Bednarek today. Then I hoped, wistfully, for a Salisu and Lyanco CB partnership.

Don’t worry, they’ve always got Ayew!

I wonder if Ralph`ll go for a back three?
Anyway, 2-1 Saints - ironically we will take our chances, despite not having any strikers.

Not all that long ago, a loved (sort of) manager had a horrid run of form (far worse than ours), and through injuries was forced to turn to Shane Long. That actually turned things around and led to us finishing in our highest ever position in the PL.

    Just a thought.

I like that thought. I absolutely do get it with the plea from many not to have him or Theo anywhere near the line-up, but for me, whatever has happened in past games is not always an indicator of future performance and for me, if they put that shirt on tonight, then let's get behind them and form our judgement afterwards. It's where we are, for whatever reason(s) we may choose, so I'm sure they would very much like to to make the difference tonight for a better result than recently.

I mean, what exactly do Che or A. Armstrong offer that Shane doesn’t anyway? It’s really not a big deal replacing no goals for no goals.

If Shane doesn't score in 7.69 seconds, he loses interest.

Too nervous for any predictions, we need to at least not lose tonight.

Remember when we used to occasionally score late winners?
