The trouble with the conspiracy theorists is they’ve been proved right at every turn. Vaccine passports for “big” events, (watch that expand and morph to your digital ID) two jabs was never going to be enough for “freedoms” to be returned etc.
This is what is happening for unvaccinated people here, as of Friday. Restrictions for unvaccinated people From 17 December 2021, unvaccinated people will be unable to: visit vulnerable settings, including hospitals, residential aged care, disability accommodation services, and prisons. This does not apply to residents and patients of these facilities, and there will be some exceptions for medical treatment, end-of-life visits, childbirth and emergency situations attend hospitality venues such as hotels, pubs, clubs, taverns, bars, restaurants or cafes attend indoor entertainment venues such as nightclubs, live music venues, karaoke bars, concerts, theatres or cinemas attend outdoor entertainment activities such as sporting stadiums, theme parks or tourism experience like reef excursions attend festivals – either indoor or outdoor – such as musical festivals, folk festivals or arts festivals attend Queensland Government owned galleries, museums or libraries. If anyone attending a wedding is unvaccinated, it is restricted to a maximum of 20 people. etc etc
I apologise for straying into politics (but Germany has done this for months and infection is spreading throughout). I’ll go off this topic at this point. I feel sorry for your country unless of course you agree with this action.
You also have to take into account the level of football that I officiated, it was only Saturday afternoon amateur level. Also I was one of the more lenient refs in the league, and thus I heard plenty of comments about being a good ref who let the game flow, and probably even more of the nature of "****ing ell, this ref is so weak, he needs binoculars, never mind glasses".
