Hull City can confirm the ‘Plan B’ Covid-19 safety regulations that will be in place at matches at the MKM Stadium. The new measures will come into effect for the game against Blackburn Rovers on Boxing Day and will be applied to all home fixtures until further notice. As per government guidelines, supporters aged 18 and over will be required to provide evidence of double vaccination via the NHS Covid Pass or NHS app, or proof of a negative PCR or lateral flow test taken inside the previous 48-hours, or demonstrate they are medically exempt. Perimeter checks will be in operation at all entrance points to the stadium footprint, with turnstiles opening earlier to allow extra time for supporters to pass the checks and enter the ground. Supporters are encouraged to arrive as early as possible to accommodate the necessary checks. Face coverings are strongly recommended when entering and moving around the ground, on the concourse and in all internal areas, but may be removed when seated inside the stadium bowl. Any supporters feeling unwell or displaying symptoms of Covid-19 must stay at home. At the end of the match, anyone who wishes to remain seated to allow the crowd to disperse may do so. These measures are in place to make your matchday experience at the MKM Stadium as safe and as enjoyable as possible. For more information on how to obtain your NHS Covid pass, please visit the official NHS website. Supporters can report their negative lateral flow test via this link.
Are LFTs still in short supply? I’ve struggled to get any for nearly a week? Boots today didn’t have any. Post is a waste of time at the minute too. We had our first delivery for a week today.
"These measures are in place to make your matchday experience at the MKM Stadium as safe and as enjoyable as possible" Hardly enjoyable more like a chore...i presume these perimeter checks will be like what i saw coming in over Argylly bridge entrence, if so any compliance will easily be got around, never mind the fact you can fiddle the lft test itself anyways. Are the club going to turn away fans with tickets because the government ****ed up the supply of lft tests ? Yes definetly agree it's going to be choatic and a few raised tempers at the turnstiles and all for a mild varaint whilst were still significantly down on last years levels of covid,...this can't be about health can it ?
If anyone needs a test kit, go to Home Bargains, but remember to get the code off the NHS website, or they won't give you one.
Sensible measures BUT unfortunately with real risk of 'chaos' plus potential negative impact on attendance just when we would want a packed out stadium
Totally sensible. Needn't be to bad if people behave like grown ups......oh yeah Anyway...... Just have to show your phone screen. Just got the NHS site up on my phone took less than a minute and I'm technically illiterate (or is it illegitimate) you can save to phone, Download a PDF copy Or receive an e mail copy So seems to me a bit of preparation is called for
Was plenty at Newington Pharmacy yesterday. As above, a code was required but it took me 30 secs to generate from the QR code they gave me. Wasn't aware you could get them from HB.
good question actually. Take it with you? Or take a pic, but then how would you prove that it was your actual test?
You would hope that the desire to not endanger other fans would be thing that stops them. You’d have to be a spectacular kind of **** to fiddle this particular system. I mean, I know I’m being hopelessly naive. Which is why hundreds, perhaps thousands, will be avoiding football matches for now. To avoid the selfish.
