    I would have kept O'shea and sold Evans to Sunderland. What does SAF see in Evans? He's beyond terrible.

    The obvious outcome of spending billions. <whistle>

    The likes of Evans, Fletcher and Carrick in our team will only result in being defeated by the likes of £ity. We honestly needed to obtain the services of a midfielder during the summer, instead we opted to hang onto Flecter and Carrick. Well done, SAF. <applause>

    Not really. All he's saying is that it's hardly surprising that the team than spent billions on players for every position is always likely to be better than the team that is relying on two academy graduates and a midfielder who was bought over five years ago. I don't see the contradiction.
