We got lucky for sure. Will have to play a lot better than that but we we will do. We haven't played well in December for years now, it's been an ongoing problem.

So you rested half your team. Did they all play the whole game? I honestly don’t know because I don’t watch the CL.

It's all the cocaine at the Christmas party. I thought that would have all stopped when John Terry left? Mutu must be still organising the catering.

You played our entire first avaliable 11 only senior left was klich on the bench. The rest were kids from u23s. We only carry an 18 man squad as bielsa likes it that way.

Klich will always be a hero to me, only game he missed in the championship was due to a giant hangover celebrating promotion. Full on Leeds that <cheers>

Agree that Klich is a legend.

Should we keep him though or allow him the chance of further glory with another championship club ?

It's a nice notion that our legends retire with us after years of fine service but the reality is that they usually move on. Norman Hunter, Terry Cooper etc and even Billy went to Hull City to finish his career.

there’s no room for sentiment sadly. Mb to decide if his legs have given up, or as you suggest that he’s just not quite good enough.

He was one of the best midfielders in the Prem for the first part of last season… by all the independent measures (appreciate stats don't tell the full story, but by the eye test too). Never scaled those heights again. Covid, age, too many games? Who knows.

Marcelo and his boys will have all the data and my suspicion is that the numbers are driving the way Klich is currently being utilised. To go from always playing to a bit part role is telling and as we're not privvy to the reasons why we can only assume there's been a significant drop off.

I’m not saying he Shouldn’t be replaced, the team has to evolve and I agree there is no room for sentiment but there is no way he should be abused by any of our fans.

Abuse no...but stating he's an idiot for giving away a stupid pen is acceptable in my opinion.

Nothing to do with the twitter abuse as I haven't read any of it, just saying a certain amount of criticism is sometimes justifiable.

Social media has made it possible for abuse to happen. So i am afraid it will happen and the players if using social media need thick skins.i cannot see Leeds banning all players from using it.
If i was klich and had given the game to chelsea i would expect some serious comments. Three times an idiot in half a season is just stupid.
