Way too many memberships were sold it's just greed but compared to prem money it's peanuts. I could see what was coming when they devalued my membership that season. Supporters clubs have been shat on too. An example is west of ireland club. They came 5 times a season and up to 38 of them. For brentford they would only allow 5 tickets for whole group.
I was saying to a mate earlier, they have left a bad taste for many fans. He's travelled up and down the country for 20 plus years, not missing many games, now struggles to get a ticket for aways
After having a membership for 17 years in a row I stopped at the beginning of Bielsas second season as I saw that there would be no point. A membership used to guarantee you multiple tickets but now can't guarantee one. There are numerous fans who followed the club in the lower leagues for years on a membership who now the fair weather fans have returned can't get to games. I know it is a difficult subject and very hard for the club to please everyone but for those of us who didn't give up on the cob in the bad times it does feel unfair. On a semi related note it would not surprise me if the younger fans are the ones who have abused Klich off of Twitter. After three years of Bielsaball they can't wrap their tiny minds around the idea that times can be tough and that is when we have to stick together. As happy as I am to be in the premier League some of the best times in recent years were when we were in League one and on minus 15. Never were the supporters more together, now there are too many premier League type supporters
They've sold around 50 000 memberships for a 10,000 ticket availability, lots going to be disappointed, no reason though they couldn't make the next 3 games in the new year priority to members who haven't had the privilege of getting a ticket yet.
You would think it was a level playing field, was reading elsewhere earlier, a few like me still haven't managed to bag a ticket yet, but someone else saying it was only the second game he's missed out on
The incapable officials are untouchable, the incompetent FA have made sure of that, I think the PL crowds should start getting on there backs from start to finish and they will start getting the message.
For the 20/21 season, awarded penalty league table was as per below. Does seem to broadly favour the top 6, but then you'd expect good forwards to draw fouls. Be interesting to see how many were awarded to the top 6 playing at home. So far this season Chelsea have been awarded 5, but we've been awarded 3. Leicester 12 Man U 11 Chelsea 10 Man City / Brighton 9 Newcastle 7 Fulham / Villa / Soton / Liverpool* / Arse 6* Everton / Spurs 5 Leeds* / Wolves* / WBA / Sheff U / Palace / WHU 4* Burnley 3* WBA conceded 11, Spurs and Man City 9 *100% success rate
We just seem to have everything against us. injuries are a massive worry we just can't get a full strength team out no matter what we do. we just can't shake it off. You start to see the light big players coming back and fit and ready to return then some other player goes out. To be fair we have had a nitemare with injuries since we returned to the prem and it's just doesn't seem fair but what can we do?. It's a sickening feeling. Phillips now out for 2 months which is a massive kick in the teeth. I'm worried not because I don't think we are good enough but because we are cruely being crippled with bad luck we just aren't getting any breaks on and off the pitch. One week you see the light then before the following game it's like the rug has been ripped from beneath us and continues to trip us up. Hand on heart I think we have done really well under the circumstances but as fans we always want more it can't be easy plugging holes all over the pitch each week nobody is getting settled in a position. I won't lie I'm worried but it's more frustrated worry as we can't show what we really have due to players getting crippled and what makes it worse the injuries are longer term ones than just niggles. Can you believe we still haven't seen Llorente and Koch as a partnership. im Just pizzed off because I want to see a full strength team and a full strength team would comfortably finish 8th to 12th without relegation worries.
… bit of both in my opinion. Any side struggles with key players missing and we’ve lost key players. We’ve also them in bunches… regular multiple CH problems for instance. But you have to recognise it’s a possibility… It might be hard to keep everyone happy with a full healthy squad, but I’d argue you need to make sure you have better cover for those key positions for circumstances such as now.

It would be handy if all Leeds games were called off till we get the injured players back. February will do.
Not sure about that Forza. We need to get cracking if we're to return to the halcyon days of League 1 that so many have been pining for.
I think that is slightly unfair Jammy. Do you blame fans who have been regulars to Elland Road for over 30 years not having fond memories of when they were able to buy tickets to go and see the team they have supported for years. As you have mentioned despite the solidarity of the fans and the team we had, the League 1 experience for yourself will always be stained due to who owned the club, and I understand that. However I don't understand how you can not respect that others have some great memories of that time, despite that fact we were owned by the spawn of satan. I don't care what league we are in, I don't really care who owns us (because no matter how evil that person will be they won't be there forever), but I do care about supporting the club that I have loved for nearly 50 years. Thus I am more than delighted that we as a club are back in the top division in England. I am grateful for the overall entertainment and quality of football that we have had over the last four seasons. Despite this season being more of a battle than we have had in previous seasons, I have made not one negative comment about the team, nor the manager. My one regret is that again despite supporting the club for over 50 years, and attending at least 10 games a season for 35 years, that I am unable to actually watch my club live anymore (unless I subject myself to some sort of raffle). So is it any wonder when unless a player plays 100% perfectly , certain elements question the player, the manager, the owners and the board, that some of us recall those times when we as fans, as Shaks mentioned on another thread a few days ago, were UNITED in our support of both our love for the team, and our distaste for the owner, and the football authorities. I fully accept that success brings both it's own rewards and also additional obstacles. I fully accept that we need to attract new and younger fans to the club, who hopefully in 40/50 years time will still be as passionate about THIS club as I am today. However don't jump on a throwaway comment about someone having fond memories of being able to support OUR club at a time when we had been brought to our knees by everyone who hated our club and what it stood for, as wishing that we were back there again. Of course I would love to be in a position where I could go and watch Leeds as often as I like, without any hindrance, doesn't mean that I want to see us playing in the National League North. However if we had even sunk that low, I'd still be wanting to buy tickets to each and every game that I could. When my first grandchild is born in a couple of months, and grows up to a point where they are able to ask me about this period of our clubs history, I will be able to regale them with numerous memories of pleasure, but with also that tinge of sadness that due to circumstances with how the club is administered (as well as both my own circumstances and a thing called Covid) that I was only able to see my team play live at Elland Road twice whilst Bielsa was in charge.
