Apart from being written by my neighbour's 12 year old?
The thing that really boils my piss is that there was never anybody saying that having the vaccine was going to make people immune to covid-19 variants, it has always been to mitigate the affects of catching the virus and to reduce the likelihood of infection. It's massively disingenuous to suggest that Omicron somehow makes the vaccines pointless, and that Omicron is especially dangerous because of this...

That was my view anyway steve79 :emoticon-0102-bigsm

It's mandatory on public transport and in shops and I think that has now passed to venues like stadiums etc.

But just because it is mandatory doesn't mean you have to wear one. You can actually self certify as being exempt. You do not need any proof, you do not need a badge/lanyard and you do not need to explain yourself.

I believe it is against the law to be asked to show proof, and it is against the law to be refused service because of it.

Let's face it the cheap masks do sod all anyway, most people do not use them properly, either wearing them under their nose or taking them off and putting them back on multiple times, for example to eat or when leaving a shop. Each time you take a mask off, you need a fresh clean mask, who does this?

Does anyone know the rules on being vaccinated/boosted after having covid? I can't find anything from the NHS online.

I appear to be in a minority (of posters on here, anyway), but I have had three jabs, the first two Astra Zeneca, the third being Pfizer, with no reactions whatsoever, at the time, or subsequently. I'm beginning to think that I haven't had any 'real' vaccinations at all, and I'm being used as a 'what if' guinea pig.

Nah. I had no real reaction other than a sore arm from the first two. The third has been the one that I reacted to

I was slightly under the weather for a couple of days after both AZ jabs, but not even a sore arm.
Pfizer booster last week with zero side affects, but my arm is damn sore, even 5 days later.

12 hours after my first AZ, I had chills, no reaction after the second.
The booster, Moderna, sore arm, headache, fatigue. Small price to pay if it keeps me safe.

Minor effects from first two Pfizer, and Moderna made me feel like **** (chills and the like) for round 12 hours, about 15 hours after having the dose. The actual needle is minor compared to other jabs.
