Well, there's interest from higher up the league in the former, and north of the border in the case of the latter. Both would obviously command decent fees, but the clubs that are interested wouldn't struggle. Honeyman is out of contract at the end of the season and if he keeps performing the way he is, clubs will come in for him, even if we activate the extension. Bernard has an option for us to sign him if we want for a six figure sum, which obviously we couldn't have taken up had we not been taken over, so does Baxter (oddly, Longman doesn't, but I think we should be signing him anyway, he seems to be getting better every game. Smith doesn't either, but I don't think he'd be missed). These are the out of contracts: McLoughlin is the immediate one for me, he needs tying down sharpish. I think Smallwood will be gone if the right club can be found, which again is harsh because he's improved the last few games.
Well there was the contentious Greaves goal last season which ended up going to Magennis, so yeah Burke.
Is Smallwood a player who’s command a place in a top championship team ? tend to think not, his passing let’s him down.
Kesler has bounced around a bit, and between 2007-2009 was Accounts Receivable / Payables Manager at Dave's Heavy Towing Inc.....! He seems to have concentrated on basketball and then football over the last 10-12 years. https://www.linkedin.com/in/tan-kesler-b6b1794
I believe they already have identified who they want so i expect movement from day 1 of the transfer window, I don't think they will want to negotiate through the window and miss the time from players coming in and playing especially if they believe there is a chance they could still make the play offs with a good run this year they will want to use January for gaining ground very quickly. As for people moving on that will be secondary as incoming will have the priority if offers come in and they don't want to sell it will only take them a few seconds to say no or yes.
If that's accurate about Bernard and Baxter (not that I'm doubting you), we should do that ASAP. Really good potential and I'm especially impressed with Baxter.
****ing hell, so the latest stick to beat your football team with is that the defenders don't score enough goals.
It's true on both counts, the figure for Bernard is a little higher then I'd expect but Baxter is a great option at the price
https://odatv4.com/spor/acun-ilicali-nin-ilk-transferi-turkiye-den-223462 Acun Ilicalı has moved to strengthen his squad during the interim transfer window for Hull City, which he will soon buy. Ilicalı is preparing to sit down with the green and whites for Emirhan Aydogan, the young star of Bursaspor. Acun Ilicalı will have a meeting with Bursaspor management in the coming days regarding emirhan's transfer. Bursa TV reported; Ilicalı allegedly put Emirhan Aydogan, as well as other Turkish players, on the transfer list to join Hull City's squad.
He is a target, yeah. Bursaspor were relegated a couple of seasons ago, which was pretty acrimonious, so he'll be available for a decent price.
Nope. He's a direct replacement for Smallwood. He's an all action midfielder, good in the tackle, composed on the ball, can pick a pass from defence. Think of him like a mixture of Thudd and Quinn rolled into one. But, you know, without creating a big ginger afro.
Hull City linked with Turkish midfielder as January plans become clearer - Hull Live (hulldailymail.co.uk) Info on him from the rag.
Will he have had to play 75% of Turkey’s last two years International matches based on Turkey’s current ranking?
I'm not really beating them, just think a quality centrhalf with a bit more nous would perhaps improve us at set pieces in both boxes.
