Everyone is allowed to put under safety car nothing wrong with that (I think it shouldn't be allowed but that's not the rules). Letting the lapped cars go was the issue
Yeah everyone can pit but Lewis couldn’t pit there, as Max just stays out and wins the race from first place. No prob with max being allowed to pit as you say that’s the rule but to then give him advantage to get 10 seconds closer while on fresh tyres as well juat doesn’t sit right.
Good for Max and someone new. The FIA decided to make that up and allow racing to continue fully well knowing what that would result in. Awful officiating
Either need to stop allowing pit stops under safety cars. or say if you wanna pit stop then fine, but you have to then take the hit to overtake those lapped cars.

Pretty much what RB as done all day; whatever Lewis does, we'll do the opposite. Think it just took too long to clear Lafifi away and they felt they had to give RB a chance. They didn't, he'd already been given at least 10seconds!

This is the thing. Max had 56 laps to overtake Hamilton, don’t think would have been as controversial if they just let it play out. Max wouldnt be able to complain, he just wasn’t as quick today
True but you can also say it could have been a very different race had Lewis not been allowed to cut the corner on the first lap too...
Not really. He was far quicker. Would have overtaken him some point. Max didn’t even get close so no way he’d have held off for 58 laps.
Imo he would have still been 20 seconds up the road. The softs were not the tyre to be on at the start at all.
The fact is Hamilton actually turned right when off the track to completely remove corner 2. He had no guidance or bollards to go round but he gained a full second there. Stewards ****ed veretappen over on that as the gap was not put backto 0.5 seconds So really the safety car **** over at the end is par for course. Masi started it last race by deciding Hamilton would win and he's done the opposite here
