I wonder if Acun has been deliberately coy about potential backers to keep the price down with the Allams. I can't imagine them being happy with 25m for the club if they knew there was someone worth ~5bn backing it.

Or maybe the most important thing is the club being taken over, and not how much the people behind it are worth. You'll just have to wait and see, but I'll tell you it's going to be an interesting January if everything that's planned falls into place (that's both incomings and outgoings).

Well the last I was told he had already agreed a compensation package for himself, ditto Cliff Byrne. Whether or not that has changed we will see, but I still think the new regime will want a new manager.

If we keep Grant and then we go on another **** run, they'll want to bring somebody new in anyway. Odds are we will go on a **** run at some point, so might as well get the new guy in now.
