1) I am not sure what you mean by abuse. I am going to go out on a limb and guess though. If you mean in reference to them exploring the Human Rights angle, then yes. I am absolutely happy that they explored that avenue. 2)ok.
It's quite simple. If you choose to live outside a society's rules, ie. ignore the legal system and the law, then how can it be acceptable to use the same legal system when you think it might work in your favour? At the very least if makes them frauds (not in the legal sense but certainly in the moral sense.)
Of course!! there is a thread on the another site I saw yesterday poking fun at FF and its posters and there (again) was GL conforming to what is expected of those on FF.
Society's rules are defined by its laws and as I see it, every citizen should be entitled to explore the protections afforded them by those laws, whether I like it or not.
