It would have to be insanely obviously deliberate or they wouldn't have the balls. No one wants the title to be decided on the last day by the stewards, especially the stewards. They would do the minimum penalty they could. (And I've no doubt same would be true if Ham or Bottas somehow took Max out but Ham kept going). They're not going to give out any penalty that affects the race unless they have to. Not over. Bad pit strategy, safety car, stupid mistake from Ham or just a bad weekend... Max is still in this. Advantage Ham, but Max could win this on track.
Yep, pretty much agree with this. Bottas never faced the music after holding cars up under the first safety car either. Clearly an attempt to keep Max back whilst Lewis did his put stop, the fact it was red flagged immediately afterwards shouldn't matter, the times had already been broken.
Agree with this too but would say Max is reliant on Lewis/Mercedes ****ing up. That can't be said in reverse
Interesting qualifying, Super Max on pole and starting on the softs so needs to get a good start and build a lead. Norris third
I cannot see those tyre lasting long enough. He has to come out ahead of sainz for any hope imo after first stop. Hamilton will go longer imo
Lewis will definitely go longer but Max got good usage out those softs in practice. Still think Lewis is in control though
@moreinjuredthanowen You like talking about "printing money" when it's large odds on a favourite... ... promotional bumped odds but still, 44-1!!!
I don't bet nowadays mate, never bet much when I did. Being on that would ruin tomorrow's race for me though; I want Max to win but that would make me cheer for Lewis
Yeah but if its not covered in terms and conditions and you can get 50 on that's a.massive return. You only need lay it off on verstappen with whatever another 50 quid and you cant lose.
Lewis to win tomorrow and get the record for WDCs, but if it's Max he'll deserve it. Just hope it's won cleanly on track in a good race. Next season with the new regs, if Hamilton takes it tomorrow, I don't care who wins it after, good for the sport if it's another driver. If it's Max tomorrow I hope Lewis will be able to break that record. Whatever goes down, let's all make sure we've got the ice creams out in honour of Kimi.
