I don't get peoples argument that we are missing a couple of our better players. We are struggling to get results when they are in the team

We have potential but there doesn’t seem to be much end result. Scoring a goal seems so hard even when we are playing well. When we do score 2 goals, we let in two goals. We have only beaten 3 teams and are stuck in the bottom 6. Still hoping for 3 worse teams than Saints, but it is becoming the same hope every season.

I've still not been able to form any opinion on Perraud, due to how little he has played. So I don't know if Ralph is right to be leaving him out or not.

But regardless, given how little money we have, it does greatly annoy me that we went and spent it on someone to sit on our bench. We're not Man City.

Fair play. Last comment on that was Wed. You had the foresight to see how today's game was going to pan out even before a ball was kicked, and knew it wouldn't be his fault.

Spent combined £20m on Perraud and Lyanco who Ralph just keeps on the bench. Not saying they are the answer but the whole thing about having a bigger squad is kinda bollocks if you’re not gonna utilize it.

The trouble is you never know for sure whether the players follow the instructions as they should. I suspect Willy was told to stay on his line and let the defence do the clearing (with hindsight, this was one of our weaknesses). But more importantly, our press lacked intelligence today and surely that could not be what Ralph wanted. As Koeman once said, there is a time to press and a time to sit back and deal with the coverage further upfield. Today we constantly pressed and (as against Liverpool) that made it easier for Arsenal to ping the ball around us and break quickly (this was our other weakness today). We actually made them look better than they were.

Now that I agree with. Tino needs a rest and Perraud didn't do a lot wrong when he played.

Norwich are worse, and over the season Watford will prove worse. Burnley will do a Burnley, and Newcastle will spend. It’s tough to find that third team who will keep us out of the danger zone.

Yeah, with Phillips out long term if anything happens to Raphinha they're in big trouble.

We won against Liverpool, there I was ready to send a host of laughing emojis and top quality insults to all my Liverpool supporting mates when Ralph breaks down crying on the sideline. Before I can type a single word on my phone I receive about 10 messages from people laughing their heads off at the patheticness and small time mentality of crying after winning a league game at home 1-0. My moment of glory was ruined

I don’t want him sacked btw, i’m very much on the fence with him.

I’ll ignore your biting sarcastic wit, I won’t even bother to form a rhyming couplet.

Exactly the same words apply to this game. Of course Ralph is at fault, as are most of the players, and as for the ownership and direction of the club…

But seriously, what actual use would it be to just sack Ralph? You choose to ignore the greater problem with the club and you focus consistently on a guy who’s admittedly got faults, and I’ve never denied that he has, but whose hands are effectively tied behind his back by the absence of any money to solve the lack of a keeper, a creative no. 10, and at least one 15 goal striker.

It’s not about one game though. It’s about 38. So what if Leeds picked up zero points. If they play at today’s level against weaker opposition they will pick up plenty of points and finish mid-table. If we play the way we did today against anyone, even Norwich, we get nothing.

Caring about the points earned in a single game is very naive, short-term thinking. Gotta look at the bigger picture.

The point I was making was about injuries. All clubs get them as well

You were the one dragging out statistics for 2021 that included last season
