i was pretty positive that we wouldn’t be after the first few games in the season. We looked pretty good

We always look good, just not actually good at getting results. It’s like Groundhog Day most weeks.

That first goal made a f*cking mockery of the gegenpress or whatever the f*ck it’s called.

Think Ralph needs to start looking at other strategies.

Solent are saying the Brentford- Watford game was dreadful last night, but I bet both of those teams wouldn’t concede two soft goals in six mins. Every week Saints are their own worst enemies. They give goals away so easily.

Is there a worse CB pairing in the Premier League? :emoticon-0138-think

With our personnel we should perhaps play more on the counter.

Stephens shouldn’t have started. Should have been on the bench. Lyanco should have stayed in. At least then Saints would have had one CB playing well.

Suppose I am alone in saying if we get one back, we could get something out of this?

That second goal was a shocker. Why do we always look so awful immediately after conceding?

Damage limitation for the second half.

Bednarek is so lightweight. Gets shoved all over the place.

In theory yes but realistically I don't see us scoring twice. And particularly not without reply.

In fairness, before his injury Stephens was probably our best defender.

Gonna be 4 or 5 unfortunately. We’re just not very good.

I did raise an eyebrow at Lyanco dropping out. But I wondered if maybe Ralph doesn't yet see him ready to play three times in a week, so has left him out of the least important of the three?

I'm probably just clutching at straws though.

Dare I say it - Armstrong going off might actually help us. Very poor again today. Seems to be a yard behind PL pace still
