Watch the first goal, JS is ball watching whilst lacazette drops 5 yards of his right shoulder. But yes many at fault as per usual. Never learn. Watched wolves today with 10 men keep their shape go with runners, put in last ditch blocks and tackles etc.
It’s so annoying. We play some really nice stuff but are just so fragile at the back. I do wonder if an extra central midfielder, and trying to be more solid in some games would help
Apologies I was talking abut second goal. I thought the first was just a great goal buy I'll watch again.
We are a myth really, play well box to box and easy on the eye but not great at defending and woeful at attacking. Not really an ideal combo
Playing nice stuff and being open is fine (more than fine, in fact) if it leads to you scoring goals. It's great to watch as a fan, eg compared to sticking 10 men behind the ball. But when you can't finish, or can't make the right final decision, it's almost suicide. Risk and reward - and we don't have the balance right.
Early thoughts of Willy - he's not as athletic as either of our first choice keepers. Both would have reached the header to his top right I suspect. He looks to be like a decent back up who is simply not match fit.
