Given we had some discussion last week on the lack of good flat horses going novice hurdling, it is interesting to see 103 flat-rated Stag Horn making his debut in the next at Hereford

 

Fingers crossed My Drogo can get round here without mishap

 

My Drogo looks good when he meets the fence on a good stride but he still has to learn how to fiddle them better, and to settle. Remains a horse with huge potential though and very good to see him get round.

 

Highly promising hurdle debut from Stag Horn - a couple of novicey jumps but clearly has a serious motor

 

This next race at Cheltenham should be a real spectacle - a fast-run 2 mile handicap chase and Editeur Du Gite will surely look to make all again. Good luck to him and the talented Niall Houlihan, who is having a really good season.
