Good Afternoon to all you MKB fans. As usual, we have undergone a bad patch, as a long-time supporter this is normal and I see a turning point.
Our youth players are looking useful and given some time to gel with the big boys could be helpful.
Away again up north today and against a team in similar circumstances, they also have a game in hand. So a must 6 pointer for us to win today and hopefully seeing us out of the bottom 4.
We seem to be great at early pressure and that is how I see this panning out. Lee hits the first after 5 minutes, then soaking up the pressure till halftime.
Biggins hits a quick equaliser soon after KO for the 2nd half. We soak up more pressure with some scary moments and they almost take the lead.
Sithole boots the ball forward and Lee hits a massive volley nearly ripping the net. 2-1 the MKB
It is short-lived as Biggins flicks it into the box to be met by the head of Garner 2-2
20 minutes of mishmash and 5 to go Lee runs into the box and is brought down by Biggins, with the poor lad in tears, lee steps up and scores from the spot HAT TRICK and a 3-2 overdue win and a climb out of the bottom 4

Why the **** is Chapman in goal???? 2 of the 4 regular starters in the back 4 are out, and Evans leaves our first choice goalkeeper on the bench. Even if he's not 100%, an 80% Cumming is better than Chapman. Glad I can't make this one.

I was stunned like you regarding this crazy decision over goalkeeper selection. I have just literally seen via a comment from the club on twitter, this...

The manager has let us know that, at the request of his parent club, Jamie Cumming needs to train for two days post-COVID before being selected in the XI. The player was only cleared yesterday, so this wasn't possible. They are happy for him to be named among the subs.

The #Gills boss has happily respected the wishes of Jamie's parent club (Chelsea). Aaron Chapman therefore will start in goal. Harvey Lintott and Rhys Bennett come in for Max Ehmer and Ryan Jackson.

As someone posted on FB regarding this, so they can name him on the subs bench, and in the first minute sub him on for Chapman, and we'll have fulfilled Chelsea's request.

    Absolute madness
